How big is baby: 14w8d (yep, really 15 weeks) | the size of a lemon
Verse that I am clinging to: "You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious inexpressible joy." 1 Peter 1:8
How I’m feeling: good, albeit tired. sleep hasn’t been so good the past few days.
Symptoms: eczema always and forever. heartburn.
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: sweet things! note the sugar canister.
Weight gain/loss: my scale at home doesn’t think I’ve crossed 130 yet, but my guess is 132, 133 ish.
Sleep: Sleep hasn’t been so great. I woke up last night super itchy so I tried to moisturize really well today. My eczema is giving me a fit.
Exercise: Love prenatal yoga. I have been trying to walk more and am wearing my Fitbit to keep track. I’ve met my 10k step goal twice this week already.
Movement: I feel like I am feeling random flutters here and there, but probably not. Just a feeling a lot of stretching and fullness here lately. The other day I had a “there is a thing in there” feeling, it was so weird.
Best moment of the week: Telling all the people has been fun, and being back at work has been super sweet. I absolutely love the women I work with and they are so excited for us and have been so sweet and kind and wonderful.
What I’m loving: People can tell I have a belly but are too polite to ask. So many people at work this week have been like ‘I noticed a little belly, but you are normally so skinny (!!) that I thought just maybe you were bloated!” working with women holds a lot of conversations like this. I am loving being back at work and in my element. Love working with people and technology and helping, although today was quite stressful. Loving getting ready for a new school year. Also loving having more energy. I might be “nesting” a little, I’ve been very on top of keeping our home clean and laundry done this week (not so much with the meals).
What I’m looking forward to: August 7th ultrasound. I’m ready to know if we are having a Phoebe or a Phoebo. It’s so crazy so much I love our little lemon already!
