2016 Portrait Favorites

What a year! Photography wise, this was a huge growth year for me. I bought the Mark ii from my friends at church and spent most weekends shooting and shooting and shooting for church, learning SO much about light and how to use what I would consider to be my first real camera-- this thing is lightyears better than the Rebel I started on and the 50D I upgraded to. Our photography team was such an answer to so many prayers and desires of my heart back in the fall of 2015 and even moreso now. I'm so thankful every single day!

Things I've wanted to learn, gear I've wanted to use, ideas I've wanted to try... such a great year full of learning and new experiences. I still am not sure what the future holds for me for photography as a business (if any)-- but I feel very strongly that God will make that clear once my student loans are paid off this fall. This year was spent documenting some of the sweetest seasons for family and friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thankful for the opportunity to tuck these sweet moments away for those that I love the most!
